Explaining dyselxia’s experience through type

The research question was as follows: Visualising the frustration of the dyslexic experience through colour, play and type.

It aims to educate the audience of the actual experience of being dyslexic. In this era where tools are created for neurdivergent people to fit into a neurotypical world, this project goes against that and targets those who usually aren’t targeted.
By flipping it on it’s head it changes the narrative of dyslexia as not something to erase but embrace.

Explain difficult science principles in a more accessible way

Through looking at the experience of those with dyslexia the book’s language has been simplified and therefore made easily understandable for a wide audience.

The personification of the science principle helps give a richer understanding of these confusing concepts.
Science is a somewhat gatekeep field. Between Accademic papers and “How to for dummies”I found a gap where the science principles are rarely explained in a written format, this work aims to create “Intellectual Accessibility”.
